The area of Farallon is rapidly making a name for itself as a vacation stop for both locals and foreigners. The influx of tourists have made Farallon the site of several resorts (e.g. Decameron Resort and Barcelo Resort) as well as residential resorts such as the Coronado which offer tourists the benefits of several dining facilities, a Range Rover driving course, a world-class gold course, and an equestrian club as well as the standard accoutrements of a beach resort.
Santa Clara and Farallon are an easy drive from Panama City - only 1 - 1/2 hours – and a mere 20 minutes from the popular mountain resort of El Valle
El Valle is another up-and-coming tourist stop within 2 hours of Panama City. El Valle caters to the low-key crowd. It is well-known for its friendly, small town atmosphere and cool temperatures. The thermal hot springs of El Valle make relaxing in the cool temperatures exceedingly luxurious. Nature lovers will find the mountains, manicured gardens, and waterfalls to be a magnificent part of their stay.
