The Copper project in Petaquilla is set to continue, according to Inmet Mining Corporation, in a press release last week. The permitting phase is underway and the full construction will be based on a metal price decision at the time of proceeding.

The CEO of Inmet, Jochen Tilk, has spoken of the inherent value to be realized, however with a conservative and disciplined approach, with cash reserve preservation high on the company’s agenda.

Inmet is currently in the process of wrapping up the acquisition of a majority stake in Petaquilla Copper Ltd. The permitting phase is estimated to take approximately two years for completion.
