Panama and Bolivia Establish Workgroup

In the interest of strengthening ties, Panama and Bolivia have set up a working group to discuss and address issues affecting both countries as well as to boost economic and trade links. Deputy Foreign Minister of Panama, Vladimir Franco confirmed that the countries will discuss ways in which they can both benefit from bilateral ties. Included in the focus issues to be dealt with are the shared problems of poverty, exclusion and natural resource exploitation. Specific mention was made of the historic links that the countries share, whilst Bolivia stands to gain international exposure via using Panama as a platform to gain access to international markets.
