Megaports of Farfan on hold indefinitely

The project due to be built in Farfan will not commence as planned. This is largely due to the current global financial slow down, and is dependent upon the new government of Panama as well as a revival of the global economy.
General consensus seems to agree on the holding back of the project amidst the current global situation, with credit companies also holding back on the granting and vetting credit for development projects.
