Canadian consortium visit Panama
A Canadian trade mission will be visiting Panama to determine possible trade and business expansion opportunities associated with the expansion of the Panama Canal. The mission supported by the Canadian government is specifically centered on Atlantic Canadian companies that wish to become part of the canal’s supply chain.
The mission is seeking to capitalize, on behalf of the Atlantic Canadian companies, potential business opportunities both as a result of the canal expansion as well as capital projects within Panama. The trade mission will allow businesses to enter into contracts and build business contacts in the development support further business and export opportunities. Trade mission will be visiting Panama in the first week of June 2009.
