Inauguration on course for Panama

The upcoming presidential inauguration of Ricardo Martinelli on July 1st is on course in terms of preparation thereof, according to official sources. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs has confirmed the attendance of no less than 9 heads of state, 15 representatives of International Organizations and 10 special mission ambassadors.

In addition to the dignitaries, who have confirmed attendance, 516 correspondents, news reporters and journalists have been accredited to cover the event across the world. Amongst the dignitaries who have confirmed attendance, the following countries will be represented: Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Guatemala, El Salvador, the Democratic Saharan Arab Republic, Honduras, Canada and Asturias; with special mission delegations from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Jamaica, Denmark, Qatar, Egypt, Uruguay, Vietnam, Belgium, and Finland joining the list of attendees and representatives.
