Hilton Garden Inn officially announces brand entrance
The official announcement of the planned Hilton Garden Inn, to be located at the corner of Calle Eusebio A. Morales and Calle Enrique Grenzier, has been made by senior vice president of brand management, Hilton Garden Inn Adrian Kurre. The newly constructed hotel will consist of 170 units in a 17 story building, in the heart of the banking and commercial district of Panama City, in the vicinity of Via España, which has also become duly known as the hotel hub of Panama City.
The Hilton Garden Inn is owned by Metropolitan Hotels S.A. under license to the Hilton Hotel Group. This is the latest addition to a growing chain of hotels consisting of more than 450 Hilton Garden Inn hotels across Europe and North and Central America. President of Metropolitan Hotels S.A., Carlos Meana expressed the pride and excitement of the company in representing Hilton Hotels after more than 30 years of being absent from the Panama market.
The 170 units Hotel will comprise of 163 guest rooms and seven suites which will include the Garden Sleep System® bed; ergonomic Mirra® chair by Herman Miller; complimentary wired and Wi-Fi high speed internet access; high definition flat screen television; and an alarm clock with MP3 connectivity. The hotel will also offer a 24 hour business centre as well as 160 m² of additional space to be used for meetings, banquets or other special occasions. In addition to these facilities the hotel will have a restaurant grill under a well-known American franchise, as well as room service and a convenience mart.
The hotel will have a full range of fitness facilities, as well as items that can be booked out for private use in the room. The Hilton Garden Inn Panama City will participate in the well-known Hilton rewards program Hilton Honors® which forms part of their guest rewards program across the 3300 Hilton family hotels worldwide.
Additional Hilton Hotels that will come into being in Panama include a brand-new Hilton a new Embassy Suite, as well as Doubletree by Hilton. Each of these are the first of each brand represented in Panama, for the Hilton Hotel group.
