Further Trade Agreement for Panama

Panama and Italy have signed an agreement that provides the legal framework for the investment promotion between the two companies. The two ministerial peers, namely Lewis Navarro and Frattini expressed wishes for the two countries to enhance bilateral ties on all aspects of the Panama and Italy relationship.

The trade agreement with the Dominican Republic, which was signed in 1985, continues to strengthen the ties of the two countries. Both countries acknowledge the strategic importance of their relationship being situated between two very large markets, being the United States and that of South American countries.
