Panama Canal’s Gatun Lake is a dream come true for any fisherman. Not only does one get close to nature and enjoy the sights and sounds of the indigenous animals, such as the howler monkeys but also the large range of tropical birds, and not getting the fish, such as the well-known peacock bass.
A trip into the area can physically exhaust the most experienced angler, as when the peacock bass start a feeding frenzy they will practically take any bait whatsoever.
