Brazil’s Galores to Invest $30 million in Panama

Galores Logisitics, a Barzilian logistics firm will invest $30 million in Panama in the form of 5 logisitic and distribution centers across Panama. According to the general director of Galores, the company will implement state of the art refrigeration technology that will provide the opportunity to allow the company to offer a complete service with storage warehouses, refrigerated trucks, product packing and shipping. The primary focus of the company is that of non-traditional fruit and vegetables, livestock, poultry and seafood product exports.

Additional logistics news is that of the investment of $4 million by Ricardo Perez S.A., distributor for Toyota, Dihatsu and Hino. Vice President of post sales, Fernando Miranda was quoted in confirming the center will be opened in May and will bring efficiency in reducing time and cost of delivery issues.
