Coronado

The area around Coronado is ideal for real estate investment. It is very central and located a mere hour from the capital Panama City. The Coronado resort itself is a world class establishment, offering well established centre of amenities, activities and social hub.

The Coronado Resort offers an 18 hole par 72 golf course designed by Tom Fazio and was very highly ranked in the International Golf Course Rankings. There are many sporting facilities in this resort, which include Tennis courts, Spa facilities, and an Olympic sized swimming pool. An equestrian centre has been recently added to the resorts repertoire of sporting facilities and amenities.

Social activities are centered in the restaurants and bars in the resort with ample play areas for the kids. The international gourmet restaurant La Huaca is a must to sample professionally prepared quality food, and Froggy’s Discotheque Pub and Bar offers a wide screen television and an assortment of music to dance the night away.  The beach club offers one the opportunity of close access to the tropical white sand beaches whilst enjoying cocktails in the sun. The restaurant in the Beach club specializes in meats and a seafood grill. Activities at the beach club also include a range of water sports, as well as small pools for the kids.

The Coronado resort facilities are located in the Farallon area, and due to being the first holiday resort area in Panama, have a well established infrastructure superior to other regions in Panama. There are well established towns and villages in the area offering full access to shopping, medical and social amenities.

Local beaches include the Playa Blanca beach area, which has miles of uncrowded beach front, whilst the Rio Mar is a great surfing locale. The area offers easy access to El Valle to explore the nature and landscapes of the interior.

The area around Coronado has received siginificant investment due to the real estate and tourism boom, and other developments and existing establishments include the Vista Mar, Buena Ventura, Las Lagartijas, the Decameron and Barcelo resorts. There are still plenty of real estate opporunities with the development of Coronado Heights, as well as various areas within this region.
